Ministers Vestry Hour<\/strong> 12 noon – 1.00 pm. Please contact the Minister for an appointment – phone 01592-758264 or E-mail alex@arforsyth.com \u00a0In the event of hospitalisation, serious illness, family anxiety, bereavement or personal difficulty the Minister is readily available to visit. You have to let him know if he can be of help.
\nCoffee Morning<\/strong> from 10.00 to 11.30am on Thursdays in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. Sales table & lucky tickets.
\nChurch Christmas Cards<\/strong> are available in the hall after the service every Sunday and at morning coffee on Thursdays. Price \u00a35 per pack of 10.
\nLife and Work.<\/strong> The December edition is available for uplift in the vestibule.
\nChristmas Stockings<\/strong> – Small Christmas stockings are on sale following today’s service for only \u00a31. All money raised will be donated to the Church.
\nChristmas Meal<\/strong> – There are still a few spaces available for you to join us for fun and fellowship at our Christmas Meal on Friday 10th December at Balbirnie Golf Club.\u00a0 The final date for booking a place and payment of \u00a320 per person is Sunday 5th December.
\nIdeal Christmas Gift<\/strong> – Models of Markinch Parish Church can be purchased for \u00a319.99 in the Church Hall.
\nSunday Teas<\/strong> – Thank you to everyone who has helped with Sunday teas and soup throughout the year.\u00a0 New rotas are being made for February 2011 onwards and if anyone would like to join the teams of volunteers please contact Tracy Thomson or John Wood.
\nShoebox Appeal<\/strong> – Glenrothes Rotary are sending shoeboxes to Eastern Europe for an Easter delivery.\u00a0 Please collect empty boxes and information sheets from the Church Hall if you wish to support this appeal.
\nCoffee Morning in aid of Cancer Research UK Scotland<\/strong> on Saturday 4th December from 10.00am to 12.00noon at Balbirnie Court. Tea, Coffee, Raffle etc. Tickets priced \u00a31.50 from Lottie Wilson or any local committee member.<\/p>\n

Trees of Memories
\n<\/strong>Over the Christmas season, our\u00a0 \u2018Trees of Memories\u2019\u00a0 in the church windows
\noffer a way to remember loved ones no longer with us. Memory tags are
\navailable from the 28th November (Advent Sunday).\u00a0
\nAdd your own inscription on the reverse of the tag before hanging it on the tree before or after the morning service.\u00a0 Last year more than one hundred cards adorned the trees.
\nMemory cards are available for a \u00a31 donation from the table in the church entrance. All proceeds from the \u2018Trees of Memories\u2019 will go towards the
\nprovision of a freshwater well in rural Kenya. Christian Aid provide the well at a cost of \u00a3500.<\/p>\n

Christmas Concert<\/strong> in aid of Help for Heroes, the charity that supports armed forces personnel recovering from their wounds by providing Army Recovery Centres.
