We warmly welcomed the family and friends of William Alexander Henderson, the baby being baptised during this morning\u2019s\u00a0 service.<\/p>\n

Ministers Vestry Hour<\/strong> 12 noon – 1.00 pm. Coffee Mornings<\/strong> are held on Thursdays from 10.00am-11.30am in the church hall. Come and join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.<\/p>\n

The Guild Opening Social<\/strong> Buckhaven & Methil Miners Brass Band are the special guests at the Guild Opening Social on Monday 12th September at 7.00pm in the church hall. The social includes supper. To help with the catering arrangements and to be sure of a seat you need to buy a ticket at a price of \u00a33.50. Tickets can be purchased from Jean Forsyth, Nan McRoberts, Jane O\u2019Harrow, Nancy Munro, Jean Wilson, Lydia Inglis, Moira Michie or Ann Taylor.<\/p>\n

Fashion Show<\/strong> – Friday 16th September at 7.15pm Come along to Picante at Unit H4, Newark Road South, Glenrothes, KY7 4NS and enjoy a fashion show with all profits being used for the refurbishment of the church buildings.\u00a0 Bring your family and friends along, tickets on sale from Tracy Thomson.<\/p>\n

Garden Party<\/strong>\u00a0 The annual Church Garden Party will take place in the Church Hall garden on Sunday 18th September from 2pm till 4pm.\u00a0Tickets are on sale from Tracy Thomson priced at \u00a33 per adult and \u00a32 per child.<\/p>\n

The Glasgow Passion<\/strong> – The play, which tells the story of the last week in Jesus\u2019 life, will be performed in the heart of Glasgow \u2013 George Square on 6th<\/sup> October, 2011 at 7.30pm. The Glasgow Passion 2011 is a new and modern interpretation of what is arguably the greatest story ever told \u2013 the story of Jesus. This story has been told in many different ways over the centuries and this fresh adaptation is written by award winning Scottish playwright Rob Drummond. Produced by Cutting Edge Theatre Productions who have staged traditional versions in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The play will be directed by Fraser MacLeod who currently is the Associate Director for Scottish Youth Theatre based in Glasgow. Offerings<\/strong> can easily be contributed regularly to the church by way of Standing Order via your own bank. It\u2019s so much easier for both yourself and the church to give in this way. Please ask our Treasurer, Nancy Munro for a form.<\/p>\n

The Church Christmas Meal<\/strong> will be held at Balbirnie Golf Club on Friday, 16th December. More details will follow soon.<\/p>\n

The Flowers in Church<\/strong> today are in loving memory of Etta Ford. They are gifted to the church by Bill and family.<\/p>\n
