Please contact the Minister for an appointment &#8211; phone 01592-758264 or E-mail alex@arforsyth.com\u00a0 In the event of hospitalisation, serious illness, family anxiety, bereavement or personal difficulty the Minister is readily available to visit. You have to let him know if he can be of help.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coffee Mornings<\/strong> are held on Thursdays from 10.00am-11.30am in the church hall. Come and join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elders<\/strong> please note that copies of\u00a0 the church magazine, News From The Pews can be collected from their pigeon holes in the session house.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Kirk Session<\/strong> will meet on Monday 7th November in the hall at 7.15pm. Elders without email can uplift minutes and agenda from the Session House.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2018Markinch &#8211; Its Church and Parish\u2019<\/strong> We are planning to order a small quantity of hardback copies of this book in time for Christmas. If you are interested in a hardback copy please speak to Ken Wilkie as soon as possible to reserve one. They will be priced at \u00a315 for church members. We still have paperbacks in stock at \u00a310.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christmas Cards<\/strong> This year\u2019s church Christmas card is a bestseller. To avoid disappointment please complete an order form (available in the church entrance or in the church hall) and pass it on to Jean Forsyth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Church Christmas Meal<\/strong> will be held at Balbirnie Golf Club on Friday, 16th December. More details will follow soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Webb Ivory Christmas Catalogue<\/strong> Order a variety of items for Christmas from this fundraising catalogue to help raise money for our Church. Copies of the catalogue can be collected from Tracy Thomson.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rotary Shoeboxes<\/strong> We have now received Shoeboxes for delivery to deprived people of all ages in Eastern Europe. Anything from toys to household items can be placed in the boxes. Shoeboxes are available for uplift now in the church hall. Remember to attach a \u00a31 coin to the side of the box. We intend to send the boxes away around mid-November, therefore please return filled boxes by Sunday 3rd November. See John Wood for more details, if required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A \u2018Pray for Schools\u2019 meeting<\/strong> will be held in St Margaret\u2019s Church New Halls from 6:45 &#8211; 7:30pm on Tuesday 15th November. This is a national event and a great opportunity to pray for all the schools in our area.
