Come and join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.<br \/>\n<strong>The Guild<\/strong> meets tomorrow evening, Monday 28th November, at 7.00pm in the Church Hall. The speaker Beryl Luke will be telling us about her experiences &#8216;Trekking in the Sinai&#8217; All welcome<br \/>\n<strong>The Guild Carol Service<\/strong> this year is at Bennochy Parish Church on December 1st at 7.15pm when we will have our past Presidents\/Conveners and Mrs Mary Sherrard our past National Convener taking part, We invite everyone to this service.<br \/>\n<strong>Christmas Cards<\/strong> This year\u2019s church Christmas card is a bestseller. In Kenya&#8217;s Nyanza Province, malaria and HIV\u00a0rates are extremely high, but many sick people simply cannot access the life-saving treatment they require. Rogers, a volunteer community health worker, travels to these remote communities on a red motorbike to bring mosquito nets, healthcare and medicines to those most in need.<br \/>\nRogers&#8217; selfless compassion has saved many lives and brought joy and hope to people like Patricia &#8211; a single mother and teacher living with HIV in the remote village of Usenge.\u00a0Follow the journey with Rogers in an interactive map at www.christianaid.org.uk\u00a0 We at Markinch Parish Church can help Rogers deliver the care that is needed by purchasing mosquito nets, home care kit, training another volunteer or even purchasing a motorbike for Rogers.\u00a0Please use the envelopes included to donate and place them in the &#8216;wishing well&#8217; in the vestibule.\u00a0 For more information please contact Tracy Thomson.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Markinch Parish Church<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2018Trees of Memories\u2019<\/strong><br \/>\nOver the Christmas season, our \u2018Trees of Memories\u2019 in the church windows offer a way to remember loved ones no longer with us. Memory tags are available from the 27th November (Advent Sunday).\u00a0 Add your own inscription on the reverse of the tag before hanging it on the tree before or after the morning service. Last year more than one hundred cards adorned the trees.<br \/>\nMemory cards (\u00a31) are available from the table in the church entrance.
