{"id":1728,"date":"2012-04-08T15:52:41","date_gmt":"2012-04-08T15:52:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.markinchchurch.org.uk\/?p=1728"},"modified":"2013-07-30T14:52:02","modified_gmt":"2013-07-30T13:52:02","slug":"long-service-award-for-markinch-elder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.markinchchurch.org.uk\/?p=1728","title":{"rendered":"Long Service Award For Markinch Parish Church Elder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the\u00a0Easter service at Markinch Parish Church on Sunday 8th April, church elder Mr\u00a0Robert Balfour\u00a0was presented with a certificate of long service signed by the Moderator of the General Assembly of\u00a0 the Church of Scotland, the\u00a0Right Reverend David Arnott MA BD.\u00a0\u00a0He\u00a0was\u00a0also presented with a Study Bible by Session Clerk, Mr\u00a0John Wood.<\/p>\n<p>Rev Alex Forsyth said that Mr Balfour\u00a0had served the Church of Scotland as an ordained elder for over thirty years.
