The award-winning singer songwriter, Bruce Davies, will be appearing in concert on 23rd November 2012 at 7.30pm,\u00a0in aid of Markinch Parish Church funds<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Performing with acoustic six and twelve string guitars, a rich baritone voice and an accessible style, he is one of Scotland\u2019s most accomplished artists.\u00a0 He performs the songs of his heroes and friends, some of his own award-winning compositions and the best of Scotland\u2019s song repertoire\u00a0in a programme that goes well beyond what is normally regarded as folk music.<\/p>\n

Describing his Church concerts, Bruce said, \u201cI am a Christian and see my work, not as \u201cevangelism\u201d, but as \u201cedifying entertainment\u201d.\u00a0 It\u2019s my aim that people of all Faiths or no Faith at all should feel comfortable at my shows and that everyone will be entertained, stimulated and encouraged by the songs and feeling of each performance.\u201d<\/p>\n
