Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christmas Gift Wrapping Service.<\/strong> A Christmas wrapping service will be available in the church hall on Sundays and Thursdays up until Christmas. The cost is 50 pence per present for gift wrapping and a tag and \u00a31 for wrapping, tag, bow and ribbon. All proceeds will go to church funds. See Karen Wood or Marianne Sankey in the church hall if you would like your presents wrapped.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Flowers in Church<\/strong> today are gifted by Joan, Bob, May and Drew in loving memory of their daughter and grand-daughter Lorna Grant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Retiral of Rev Alex and Jean Forsyth.<\/strong><br \/>\nMembers of the congregation are reminded that next Sunday 22nd December will be Rev Alex Forsyth&#8217;s last service at Markinch Parish Church. We hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend.<br \/>\nWe will be celebrating Communion during the service and there will be refreshments in the hall afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>Over the Christmas season, our<strong> \u2018Trees of Memories\u2019<\/strong> in the church windows offer a way to remember loved ones who are no longer with us.<br \/>\nAdd your own inscription on the reverse of the tag before hanging it on the tree before or after the morning service.<br \/>\nLast year more than one hundred cards adorned the trees.<br \/>\nMemory cards (\u00a31) are available from the table in the church entrance. All proceeds from the \u2018Trees of Memories\u2019 are going towards the provision of a stair lift at the church gates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christmas Greetings<\/strong><br \/>\nEsma Morrison wishes everyone a Happy and Peaceful Christmas and Good Health in 2014<\/p>\n<p>Fred Sankey would like to send his best wishes for Christmas and New Year to all his friends at Markinch Parish Church.<\/p>\n<p>Moira, Suzi, Helen and the children of the Sunday School wish all the congregation a Happy Christmas and New Year.<\/p>\n<p>Nessie Wilkie has decided not to send cards this year but would like to wish everyone in the congregation a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.<\/p>\n<p>Christine Annandale sends Christmas Greetings and best wishes for the New Year to everyone.
