Coffee Mornings<\/strong> on Thursdays from 10.00am – 11.30am in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.<\/p>\n

Church Flowers<\/strong> If you would like a gift of flowers distributed to anyone in the congregation please contact the flower lady for March, who is Linda Paterson. She can be contacted on 01592 773121<\/p>\n

Life and Work<\/strong> – This month’s edition is now ready for uplift. Youth Club – The youth club are collecting Sainsbury Active Kids Vouchers 2014 for Markinch Primary School.\u00a0 There is a collection box in the church hall for you to donate any vouchers you may have.<\/p>\n

Glenrothes Foodbank<\/strong> Food stocks have diminished alarmingly and an emergency appeal has been put out for more donations. Please help if you can.<\/p>\n

Kirkcaldy Presbytery\u2019s \u2018Celebrate and Discover\u2019<\/strong> day will be taking place in Kirkcaldy High School on March 22nd and everyone in our church is invited. Our church will have a display stand there. Look out for more information over the coming weeks. Please contact Ken Wilkie if you have any ideas for our display or if you are able to help on the day.<\/p>\n

Glenrothes and District Christian Aid Committee<\/strong> Big Book Sale will take place March 31st to April 5th daily from 11am to 3pm in St Columba\u2019s Church, Glenrothes Markinch Parish Church<\/p>\n

CLEANER WANTED<\/strong> Cleaning of Church, Session House and Church Hall required. Total 8 hours per week. Church and Session House to be cleaned on Mondays Church Hall to be cleaned on Fridays Start date as soon as possible Salary within Church of Scotland recommended rates Please reply via e-mail with a CV. Rosyth Concert Band<\/strong> The band will be performing in the church hall on Saturday 15th March at 7.30pm. Doors open 7pm. Tickets \u00a36\/\u00a35 conc., refreshments included. Our organist Alison Burns will be playing with the band and it would be nice if members of the congregation could come along and support her. Tickets are available from Karen Wood, Meg Sankey or Marianne Sankey.<\/p>\n

Choir<\/strong> Anyone who is interested in joining the choir on a Sunday morning should speak to Alison Burns\u00a0 The aims of the choir would be to support and lead the Sunday worship with occasional individual contributions from the choir.<\/p>\n

Spring Fayre and Daffodil Tea<\/strong> A Spring Fayre and Daffodil Tea will be held in the church hall on Saturday 12th April from 2pm to 4pm.\u00a0 The hall will be open from 1pm for donations to the cake and candy stall to be handed in and for the setting up of all other stalls.\u00a0 Anyone wishing to hand in donations for the Fayre please see the people mentioned below any Sunday after church.

Christian Aid Week 11th \u2013 17th May<\/strong> There will be a Coffee Morning in aid of Christian Aid on Thursday 15th May 2014, posters will be ready for distribution soon.\u00a0 A Quiz Night is also organised for Friday 16th May 2014 in the Church Hall.\u00a0 Books continue to be on sale for CA and we recycle ink cartridges and toners for CA.
