Union of Markinch and Thornton<\/strong> Members of the congregations were in attendance to hear Presbytery approve their Basis of Union. The Service of Union will be held on Thursday 5 June 2014 at 7.00pm. Presbytery meets at 6.45pm. Venue to be confirmed. Mrs May Russell was appointed Interim Moderator of the united congregation.<\/p>\n

Coffee Mornings<\/strong> on Thursdays from 10.00am – 11.30am in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.<\/p>\n

Church Flowers<\/strong> If you would like a gift of flowers distributed to anyone in the congregation please contact Teresa Henderson.<\/p>\n

St. Monans Community Choir<\/strong> The choir will be performing in the church hall on Friday 25th April at 7.30pm.\u00a0 Doors open 7pm. Tickets \u00a36\/\u00a35 conc, refreshments included. Tickets now available from Karen Wood or Meg and Marianne Sankey.<\/p>\n

Spring Fayre and Daffodil Tea<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Spring Fayre and Daffodil Tea will be held in the church hall on Saturday 12th<\/sup> April from 2pm to 4pm.\u00a0 The hall will be open from 1pm for donations to the cake and candy stall to be handed in and for the setting up of all other stalls.<\/p>\n

Donations for Tombola, Bottle Tombola, Craft and Cake & Candy stalls should be given to Karen Wood, Meg Sankey or Marianne Sankey or the people mentioned below as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Anyone wishing to help please see Karen, Meg or Marianne.\u00a0 If you would like to set up your own craft stall please contact Karen (07717023906).<\/p>\n

This will be our main fund-raiser for the first six months of 2014, so please give us your support.<\/p>\n
