It can also be seen at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.museumplanet.com\">www.museumplanet.com<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Acting Treasurer<\/strong>\u00a0 Members of the Congregation are asked to note that\u00a0 Nancy Munro has kindly agreed to occupy the post of Acting Treasurer following John Wood&#8217;s resignation which took effect from the A.G.M. last Monday evening. At the meeting, John was thanked for his work over the period he has been Treasurer and was given the the gift of a Study Bible as a measure of the Congregation&#8217;s appreciation<br \/>\n<strong>Easter Chicks<\/strong> Thank you to everyone who has help knit Easter Chicks, your support has enabled us to raise \u00a3100 for Church Funds.\u00a0 Easter Chicks can be purchased in the Church hall following today&#8217;s service for only \u00a31.<br \/>\n<strong>Resignation<\/strong> of the Church &amp; Hall Cleaner The Congregational Board members were sorry to learn that Jane Barr had decided to step down from her role as Church\/Hall cleaner at the end of the month. As a consequence, applications are now invited to fill the resulting vacancy and anyone interested in the post should notify Doug Jolly, Clerk to the Board, ( phone &#8211; 757039 ) who can also provide details of the work involved. All applicants should note that the closing date for receiving applications is Monday 3rd April.<br \/>\n<strong>Quiz Night<\/strong> Scheduled for Friday 9th April at 7pm. Teams of four are welcome as well as individuals who will be made into teams on the night. This is certain to be an entertaining evening, and all for \u00a31 per person. Adults \u00a35, Children \u00a31.\u00a0 Proceeds to the Haiti Disaster Fund.<br \/>\n<strong>Fundraising and Social Events<\/strong> It has been decided that we will have a few social events as well as the major fundraising events in 2010, The fundraising effort for this year will be ring fenced for the fabric fund as there are a number of major projects which need to be undertaken this year, such as the replacement of the windows in the church hall. Please put the dates below in your diary, and we hope that these events will be well supported.
