Tickets (\u00a34 for adults and \u00a32 for children) are available from Joan Grant.<br \/>\n<strong>Sunday School<\/strong> We have received our first letter from Surafel our sponsored child in Ethiopia. He tells us that he enjoys football and his favourite Bible story is about Moses. He lives with his parents in a village with no electricity or water. The full letter can be seen on the notice board in the hall. We need \u00a3252 to sponsor him for the year and you can add your name to the wall chart. Thanks to all who have already contributed this year.<br \/>\n<strong>Election Hustings 2010:<\/strong> Glenrothes &amp; Area Churches Together have organised an Election Hustings meeting in advance of the General Election on 6th May.<br \/>\nAll the candidates will take part in what is expected to be a very lively debate. The meeting is on Wednesday 21st April at 7.30pm at CISWO in Glenrothes and will be chaired by the Rev Alex Forsyth. Questions must be submitted in writing, before the meeting. Further details from Bob Grant.<br \/>\n<strong>Help raise money for our church by recycling<\/strong>\u00a0 During the next few months we will be collecting all types of unwanted textiles including adult\u2019s and children\u2019s clothes, paired shoes, hats, bags, belts, curtains, towels and bed linen.\u00a0 We take all qualities of textiles, even ripped or with buttons missing!!!\u00a0 Our Church will get money for every kilo of textiles we collect.\u00a0 Start collecting today and bring bagged items to the Church Hall, where we will store any items until our collection date later in the year.\u00a0 For more information contact Tracy Thomson on\u00a001592 775752 or visit the Rag Bag Website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rag-bag.co.uk\">www.rag-bag.co.uk<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>450th anniversary of the Scottish Reformation <\/strong>There will be a special session of the General Assembly to mark the 450th anniversary of the Scottish Reformation. This will be held in the Assembly Hall from 4 pm to 6 pm on Sunday 23 May and will include worship, drama, special music with Hyndland School choir and orchestra (where the Moderator was school chaplain), historical input and reflections on the Reformation legacy today.
