Coffee Morning<\/strong> from 10.00am to 11.30am on Thursdays in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. Sales table and lucky tickets.\u00a0 Would you be able to help one Thursday in five? (That is only ten times in a year! )\u00a0 Due to illness, one or two of our five teams are now short of volunteers.\u00a0 Please come along to the church hall any Thursday morning for coffee and a chat, and to find out more.<\/p>\n

Christian Aid<\/strong> – please support the Christian Aid Coffee Morning Saturday 15th May 10.00 -12 noon. Tickets \u00a32.00 from Jean Forsyth<\/p>\n

GROW Fashion Show<\/strong>: A Fashion Show organised by M & Co in aid of GROW will be held in Markinch Church Hall on Friday 30th April at 7.30pm. Tickets (\u00a34 for adults and \u00a32 for children) are available from Joan Grant.<\/p>\n

Raise money by recycling<\/strong> We are collecting all types of unwanted textiles including adult\u2019s and children\u2019s clothes, paired shoes, hats, bags, belts, curtains, towels and bed linen.\u00a0We take all qualities of textiles, even ripped or with buttons missing!!!\u00a0 Our Church will get money for every kilo of textiles we collect.

450th anniversary of the Scottish Reformation<\/strong> There will be a special session of the General Assembly to mark the 450th anniversary of the Scottish Reformation. This will be held in the Assembly Hall from 4pm to 6pm on Sunday 23rd May and will include worship, drama, special music with Hyndland School choir and orchestra (where the Moderator was school chaplain), historical input and reflections on the Reformation legacy today. This will be an open session of the Assembly and visitors will be very welcome.<\/p>\n

The flowers in church<\/strong> today are dedicated to the Glory of God and in loving memory of Margaret Gibson. They are gifted to the church by her husband, Ivor.<\/p>\n
