You have to let him know if he can be of help.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coffee Morning<\/strong> from 10.00 to 11.30am on Thursdays in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. Sales table &amp; lucky tickets. \u00a3856 was raised in July\/August<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Congregational Board<\/strong> will meet in the hall at 7.15 p.m. tomorrow evening (20th September). Copies of the agenda and minute of the previous meeting are available in the Session House for those members without e-mail facilities<\/p>\n<p><strong>Church Christmas Cards<\/strong> are available in the hall after the service every Sunday and at morning coffee on Thursdays. Price \u00a35 per pack of 10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lucky Tickets<\/strong> All Board and Session members please note that Lucky Tickets in aid of church re-decoration are ready for uplift in the Session House. Members of the congregation can also help the church by selling Lucky Tickets. Please ask Tracy Thomson or John Wood for details. Ticket stubs to be returned by 1st December.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Markinch: Its Church and Parish<\/strong> A new book by Ian Gourlay and Ken Wilkie. A companion to the volume The Church in Markinch which was published in 2001.<br \/>\nThe formal launch is due to take place on Sunday 3rd October in the church hall immediately after the church service. Paperback price \u00a312.50 (\u00a310 for church members) and hardback price \u00a318.00 (\u00a315 for church members). All profits from the sale of the book go to our church funds. Please contact Tracy Thomson on 01952 775752 if you are available.\u00a0 Donations required please for:-\u00a0 Books &#8211; Cake &amp; Candy &#8211; Lucky Tickets &#8211; Tombola &#8211; Tea &amp; Coffee.\u00a0 If you would like to help at this fundraising event with a different stall please let Tracy know as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Around Markinch Photography Quiz<\/strong> &#8211; There were 3 completed quiz sheets but only one had all 15 answers correct and won the prize of a Church Model.\u00a0 The winner was Mima Magna.\u00a0 Thanks to everyone who took part, \u00a345 was raised for Church Funds.\u00a0 The answers to the quiz are on the fundraising notice board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Surafel <\/strong>Thanks to all who have donated to Surafel, our sponsored child in Ethiopia. The latest letter from him is on the notice board in the hall and the children have written letters and drawn pictures in return. We have almost reached our target for the year but require a few extra pounds so that we can send money for a Christmas gift.
