Ministers Vestry Hour 12 noon – 1.00 pm. Please contact the Minister for an appointment – phone 01592-758264 or E-mail alex@arforsyth.com  In the event of hospitalisation, serious illness, family anxiety, bereavement or personal difficulty the Minister is readily available to visit. You have to let him know if he can be of help.
Coffee Morning from 10.00 to 11.30am on Thursdays in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. Sales table & lucky tickets.
Church Christmas Cards are available in the hall after the service every Sunday and at morning coffee on Thursdays. Price £5 per pack of 10.
Life and Work. The December edition is available for uplift in the vestibule.
Christmas Stockings – Small Christmas stockings are on sale following today’s service for only £1. All money raised will be donated to the Church.
Christmas Meal – There are still a few spaces available for you to join us for fun and fellowship at our Christmas Meal on Friday 10th December at Balbirnie Golf Club.  The final date for booking a place and payment of £20 per person is Sunday 5th December.
Ideal Christmas Gift – Models of Markinch Parish Church can be purchased for £19.99 in the Church Hall.
Sunday Teas – Thank you to everyone who has helped with Sunday teas and soup throughout the year.  New rotas are being made for February 2011 onwards and if anyone would like to join the teams of volunteers please contact Tracy Thomson or John Wood.
Shoebox Appeal – Glenrothes Rotary are sending shoeboxes to Eastern Europe for an Easter delivery.  Please collect empty boxes and information sheets from the Church Hall if you wish to support this appeal.
Coffee Morning in aid of Cancer Research UK Scotland on Saturday 4th December from 10.00am to 12.00noon at Balbirnie Court. Tea, Coffee, Raffle etc. Tickets priced £1.50 from Lottie Wilson or any local committee member.

Trees of Memories
Over the Christmas season, our  ‘Trees of Memories’  in the church windows
offer a way to remember loved ones no longer with us. Memory tags are
available from the 28th November (Advent Sunday). 
Add your own inscription on the reverse of the tag before hanging it on the tree before or after the morning service.  Last year more than one hundred cards adorned the trees.
Memory cards are available for a £1 donation from the table in the church entrance. All proceeds from the ‘Trees of Memories’ will go towards the
provision of a freshwater well in rural Kenya. Christian Aid provide the well at a cost of £500.

Christmas Concert in aid of Help for Heroes, the charity that supports armed forces personnel recovering from their wounds by providing Army Recovery Centres.
Featuring the East Fife Ladies Choir, Carol Singing & Lucky Draw
