Ministers Vestry Hour 12 noon – 1.00 pm. Please contact the Minister for an appointment – phone 01592-758264 or E-mail alex@arforsyth.com  In the event of hospitalisation, serious illness, family anxiety, bereavement or personal difficulty the Minister is readily available to visit. You have to let him know if he can be of help.

Coffee Mornings are held on Thursdays from 10.00am – 11.30am in the church hall. Come and join us for coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.

A Joint Meeting of the Kirk Session and Congregational Board will be held in the Session House immediately after the service on Sunday 13th March. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the Annual Statement of Accounts for the year ending December 2010

The Guild will meet on Monday 14th March, when the speaker will be Ian Gourlay. After a short AGM is held, Ian’s talk will be “Around The Parish in 80 Pictures” based on the new book Markinch – Its Church and Parish. Everyone is welcome.

The Guild’s closing social is on Monday 28th March and entertainment will be
provided by the members of GAMA.  Tickets can be obtained from Jean Forsyth or any member of the Guild committee.

Dates for Christian Aid events and our church fundraising events are displayed on the notice board in the hall. Please take a note of these dates for your diaries

Prayer Call – Anyone who is interested can pick up the March copy of Kirkcaldy Presbytery’s Prayer Call leaflet  in the vestibule. 

The re-scheduled Concert by The East Fife Ladies Choir on behalf of Help for Heroes will now take place on Tuesday 17th May in the Church. Please use your old ticket if you bought one previously. Tickets can now be purchased from the minister, priced £5.00 or you can pay at the door.

Shoebox Appeal – Glenrothes Rotary are sending shoeboxes to Eastern Europe for an Easter delivery. Please collect empty boxes and information sheets from the Church Hall if you wish to support this appeal. Filled shoeboxes should be returned to the Church Hall by next Sunday, 13th March.

Cancer Research Coffee Morning The local committee of Cancer Research Scotland are holding a coffee morning in Balbirnie Court on Saturday 19th March from 10am to 12noon. Tickets £1.50 from committee members or pay at the door

A Ceilidh in aid of GROW (Glenrothes Outreach Worker) will be held on Saturday 12th March at 7pm in St Columba’s Church. Tickets are £5 and can be purchased from Tracy Thomson.
