Ministers Vestry Hour 12 noon – 1.00 pm. Please contact the Minister for an appointment – phone 01592-758264 or E-mail alex@arforsyth.com  In the event of hospitalisation, serious illness, family anxiety, bereavement or personal difficulty the Minister is readily available to visit. You have to let him know if he can be of help.

Coffee Mornings are held on Thursdays from 10.00am – 11.30am in the church hall. Come and join us for coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.

Easter Lunch Tickets are now on sale for the Easter Lunch of soup & dessert for £3.00. The lunch will be on Sunday 24th April following the Church service. Tickets can be purchased from Tracy Thomson or Karen Wood, after today’s service or at  Thursday coffee mornings.

Guild Coffee Morning on Saturday 7th May, 10.00am – 12.00noon in the church hall. Tickets £2 from Jean Forsyth. Baking for the stall or teas, Bring & Buy items or ‘Lucky Ticket’ prizes will be gratefully received on the day.

The Re-scheduled Concert by The East Fife Ladies Choir on behalf of Help for Heroes will now take place on Tuesday 17th May at 7.00pm in the Church. Please use your old ticket if you bought one previously. Tickets can now be purchased from the minister, priced £5.00 or you can pay at the door. Donations of prizes for the ‘Help for Heroes’ Lucky Tickets to Jean Forsyth please.

Bruce Davies – Concert in aid of GROW (Glenrothes Regional Outreach Worker). The award-winning singer songwriter, Bruce Davies, will be appearing in concert at St Margaret’s Parish Church, Glenrothes on Friday 29th April at 7.30pm in aid of GROW. Ticket price £6.00 (Concessions £4.00). Tickets are available from Tracy Thomson or call the organisers on 01592 771773 for further details.

Zumba Class in Markinch Parish Church Hall on Tuesdays from 6:00 – 6:55pm. Ditch the workout, come and join the party!!! All fitness levels are welcome. Cost is £3 per class. Further information from Debra on 07949 523976

Glenrothes 2011 Police in the Community Programme  Experience some of the work Fife Constabulary carry out, including police training. The programme starts on Tuesday 26th April 2011 at Adam Smith College Glenrothes. The Flowers in Church today are dedicated to the Glory of God and in loving memory of Rev. William H Miller, Minister of this church from 1969 to 1972. They are gifted to the church by Margaret Michie and the Miller family.

Christian Aid Week
15th May – 22nd May.

Following the success of our Christmas collection for a ‘Well for Kenya’ we will again be purchasing a large item through Christian Aid.  Events we have planned are :-
Sunday 15th May – Soup following Sunday service
Thursday 19th May – Thursday Teas
Friday 20th May – Bodyshop Party in Church Hall
Sunday 22nd May – Sunday Teas
