Ministers Vestry Hour 12 noon – 1.00 pm. Please contact the Minister for an appointment – phone 01592-758264 or E-mail alex@arforsyth.com  In the event of hospitalisation, serious illness, family anxiety, bereavement or personal difficulty the Minister is readily available to visit. Let him know if he can help.

Coffee Mornings are held on Thursdays from 10.00am-11.30am in the church hall. Come and join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.

The Guild meets tomorrow evening, Monday 12th March, at 7.00pm in the Church Hall. The A.G.M. will be followed by a light supper. There will be a sales table and raffle.

The Guild Closing Social is on Monday 26th March at 7.00pm in the Church Hall. Entertainment will be by the Sarah Hendry School of Dance. Tickets priced £3.50, which includes supper, can be purchased from Committee Members.

Joint Meeting Of The Kirk Session And Congregational Board  Members are advised there will be a short meeting in the Session House immediately after the Morning Service on Sunday 18th March 2012. The purpose of the meeting will be to receive the Annual Statement of Accounts for 2011 prior to them presented at the A.G.M. on the following evening.

Church A.G.M. All members of the congregation are warmly invited to attend this year’s A.G.M. which is to be held in the hall at 7.15 p.m. on Monday 19th March 2012. Copies of the accounts and agenda for the meeting will be available to those attending prior to the meeting

Congregational Board Thee will be a meeting of the Congregational Board immediately after the A.G.M. on Monday 19th March. Copies of the agenda and minute of the previous meeting are now available in the Session House for those members who do not have e-mail facilities.

Maundy Thursday There will be a Service of Holy Communion on 5th April at 7.00pm. Everyone is welcome.

Church Hall Curtains There are new curtains in the church hall and these were purchased with money raised from Thursday and Sunday coffee mornings, thanks to all who support these regular events.

Markinch Amateur Operatic Society will be performing ‘The Sound Of Music’ in Markinch Town Hall from 20th to 24th March. Tickets £10, concessions for seniors £8 on Tues and Wed, children £8 Tue to Fri. Public telephone booking  is now open. Contact Valerie Thomson on 01592 754537
