Coffee Mornings are held on Thursdays from 10.00am-11.30am in the church hall. Come and join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.
The Flowers in Church today are dedicated to the Glory of God and are in loving memory of Dave and Belle Thomson and also of Muriel Magna. They are gifted to the church by Roy and Mima Magna.
Church Flowers Would anyone in the congregation who would like flowers delivered from the Sunday service to the elderly, sick, bereaved, or someone going through a difficult time please contact the person dealing with the flowers for that month. The ladies volunteering for the following months are:- for June – Margaret Johnston and for July – Jean Wilson.
Burntisland Parish Church is open to visitors from 1st June to 31st August, Mondays to Saturdays 2pm – 4 pm. Guided tours are available.
The GROW AGM is taking the form of a sandwich and sweet meal, followed by a short AGM and then a thanksgiving service on Wednesday 20th June at 6:30pm in Glenrothes Baptist Church. Contact Beth McLean on 01592 752241 or beth@mcleanmail.me.uk by 15th June if you would like to attend.
Doors Open Day – Correction to the date given in the Church magazine. Please note that the Doors Open Day event is to be held on Sunday 9th September 2012 and not the 21st September as stated in the article. There will be a small exhibition in the church hall from 2.00pm and a guided tour of the church building at 3.00pm. Further details will follow nearer the time.
Recipe Book
We need your help to compile a church cookery book. We need a title for the book and we need recipes for the book. There will be a prize for the best title.
Sections are:- Soups / Starters / Fish / Main Dishes / Desserts / Cakes & Scones / Biscuits / Confectionery / Preserves & Chutney.
