A ‘Blue Plaque’ is due to be unveiled on Friday 6th July at 42 Commercial St, Markinch, to mark what was the family home of the late Sir David Jack. There will be light refreshments in the church hall starting at 4.30pm with a few short speeches from family and friends beginning at 5.00pm. It is hoped  that there will be a small exhibition in the hall on the life and achievements of Sir David.
