Ministers Vestry Hour 12 noon – 1.00 pm. Please contact the Minister for an appointment – phone 01592-758264 or E-mail alex@arforsyth.com  In the event of hospitalisation, serious illness, family anxiety, bereavement or personal difficulty the Minister is readily available to visit. You have to let him know if he can be of help.

Coffee Mornings are held on Thursdays from 10.00am-11.30am in the church hall. Come and join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.

Church Flowers Would anyone in the congregation who would like flowers delivered from the Sunday service to the elderly, sick, bereaved, or someone going through a difficult time please contact the person dealing with the flowers for that month. The people to contact for distribution in August are Margaret Urquhart 01592 612341 and Alison Taylor 01592 759870 and for September it will be Teresa Henderson, who can be contacted on 01592 754892.

Fundraising Going Forward Could anyone who wishes to suggest ideas for fundraising, help organise events or assist the fundraising effort in any way please meet with Marianne Sankey in the Church hall following the communion service today. Everyone is welcome and any help would be gratefully received.

As part of this year’s fundraising efforts Meg Sankey is going to be running a jigsaw library. To get it started would you please look out any unwanted jigsaws and bring them to Meg any Sunday at Church or phone her on 01592 749633 and she will collect them. We plan to charge a nominal fee to borrow each jigsaw.

The Rotary Club of Glenrothes invite you to attend their meeting on 23rd August as they have organised Olivia Giles as their guest speaker. Olivia contracted meningococcal septicaemia and required quadruple
amputations. She now spends a great deal of her time as a volunteer, creating awareness about meningitis and raising funds to combat the disease. She also is involved in funding the provision of artificial limbs to people in the poorest districts of East Africa via a charity called 500Miles ( www.500miles.co.uk ).
The meeting begin with a meal at 7pm sharp at Gilvenbank Hotel Glenrothes, the cost will be £13 per person.
