Please contact the Minister for an appointment – phone 01592-758264 or E-mail alex@arforsyth.com  In the event of hospitalisation, serious illness, family anxiety, bereavement or personal difficulty the Minister is readily available to visit. You have to let him know if he can help.

Church Newsletter Articles, jokes, announcements and other items of interest are urgently required for the November edition of News From The Pews. Please hand them to Ken Wilkie or email them to ken.wilkie@lineone.net by Sunday 4th November at the very latest. Remember – it’s YOUR newsletter.

Coffee Mornings are held on Thursdays from 10.00am-11.30am in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.

The Flowers in Church are dedicated to the Glory of God and are gifted by Alison and Bruce Taylor in loving memory of their dearly beloved first born son, Andrew.

Church Flowers – If you would like flowers distributed to anyone in the congregation during October, please contact Tracy Thomson on 01592 775772

Sales Table – There are some knitted items for sale in the church hall. Please feel free to make a donation to church funds in the dish provided. If you would like to donate handicrafts, baking, plants, jams / chutney’s etc, please place them on the sales table before any church service.

The Communion Service in November will be held on 25th November at 11am. Please note this date change in your dairies.

A Vintage Tea Party will be held in the Church hall on Saturday 10th November from 2pm until 4pm. There will also be a variety of stalls selling crafts etc, an ideal opportunity to start, or finish, your Christmas shopping. Webb Ivory Christmas Catalogues are available in the Church hall for uplift and any orders have to be given to Tracy Thomson. 

Rag Bag – You can donate any clothes, towels, bed linens, shoes, curtains, towels, bags or textiles. If you need transport for your donation, please contact Marianne on 07801 279899 to arrange an uplift

The Rotary Club of Glenrothes will be delivering shoeboxes again to the needy in Eastern Europe. Boxes are available for uplift in the hall. Remember to tape a £1 coin to the box after filling. The last day for uplift is 18th Nov 2012.

Pray Now 2013 A Daily Devotions book on the theme of “Generation to Generation”. Pray Now is a collection of modern prayers that can be used by all denominations, by individuals, prayer groups and leaders of worship and are designed to be used and reused, enabling the reader to return to familiar thoughts and prayers throughout the year. RRP is £7.99 – but they are available for £6 each if you order through the church. Orders will taken by John Wood up to late October / early November for delivery in December.

Bruce Davies in Concert on Friday 23rd November in the Church Hall by to raise funds for Markinch Parish Church, more details to follow.
