Kirkcaldy Presbytery Banner at Markinch Parish Church

THE KIRKCALDY PRESBYTERY BANNER was at Markinch Parish Church recently.
It was handed over by Mrs Mary Cook who delivered good wishes from St. Margaret’s Church, Glenrothes.
The  Presbytery elder for Markinch Parish Church, Mr Bryan Gould, will deliver the banner to Kennoway Church as the banner continues on it’s journey.
The Presbytery Banner was made for ‘Heart and Soul’ during the General Assembly last year.  The banner is now the focal point of a Prayer Pilgrimage around all the churches in Kirkcaldy Presbytery. It started at Templehall Church on 6th November 2012 and will eventually return there on 12th May 2013. The Presbytery will come together the following week for a special Pentecost Songs of Praise Celebration. The well-travelled banner will then be back in Edinburgh for Heart and Soul 2.
