Please contact the Minister for an appointment – phone 01592-758264 or E-mail alex@arforsyth.com  In the event of hospitalisation, serious illness, family anxiety, bereavement or personal difficulty the Minister is readily available to visit but you have to let him know if he can be of help.

Coffee Mornings on Thursdays from 10.00am-11.30am in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.

Rev Alex Forsyth will shortly celebrate 40 years as an ordained minister. On 21st July there will be a special Sunday Morning service led by the Rev. Ken Froude, minister of St Bryce, Kirkcaldy. Jean Forsyth is hosting lunch in the church hall immediately after the service and is inviting everyone to come and be her guest. To give the outside caterer some idea of numbers Jean needs your reply to this invitation on 01592 758264 as soon as possible.

Life and Work magazine is now available for collection from the Session House

The Flowers in Church today are dedicated to The Glory of God and have been gifted by Doug and Betty Jolly in loving memory of their younger daughter Barbara.

Join us for a picnic lunch on Sunday 23rd June at 1pm in the Church Hall Garden. If the weather is not kind, we will be in the hall. Please bring your own food and beverage for this fellowship meal. There will be a number of special picnic lunches up for auction at this event.

Communion Coin Collection boxes are now available in the vestibule. The collection will go towards the installation of a lift at the church steps. Boxes can be emptied any Sunday or Thursday morning by seeing Marianne Sankey, Karen Wood or Meg Sankey.

Top 10 Hymn Service Nomination sheets are available from Marianne Sankey, Karen Wood and Meg Sankey at a cost of £1. Nominate your 10 favourite hymns in order of preference and return the forms no later than 11th August. The 10 most popular hymns will be sung at an evening praise service on Friday 6th September. Tea, biscuits and cake will be served in the hall afterwards.

Craft Items are available for sale in the hall for church funds. If you wish to donate any unwanted craft items, fabric, threads, wool, etc please contact Marianne Sankey, Meg Sankey or Karen Wood.

Markinch Local Committee of Cancer Research Scotland are holding a Coffee Morning in Balbirnie Court on Saturday 6th July from 10am to 12noon. Sales Table, Raffle and Tombola. Tickets £1.50 from Teresa Henderson.

Glenrothes YMCA is spearheading Foodbank in Glenrothes and requests for food parcels are increasing due to reasons such as changes to the benefit system. In response to this appeal, there will be a box in the vestibule if you would like to make a donation of non-perishable foods, please place it in the box on a Sunday, and we will ensure that it is delivered to the food bank on a Monday. The YMCA are also looking for suitable premises around 1000-1400 sq.ft. for storage, office, toilets, kitchen, meeting space and an interview room. Rothes Trinity Parish Grouping are producing the musical “From Pharaoh to Freedom” by Roger Jones on Saturday 22nd June in St Columba’s Church, Glenrothes at 7:30 pm. All proceeds will go to Kingdom Kids.
