Union of Markinch and Thornton The Service of Union will take place at Thornton Parish Church on Thursday 5th June (exact time to be advised later). The Induction service for a new minister (when found), will be at Markinch, as it was felt that Markinch can cater for a greater number of people and the induction service is likely to be busier.

The Kirk Session meets tomorrow, Monday 28th April at 6.45pm for a 7.00pm sharp start  and includes mandatory safeguarding training. All elders/trustees are requested to attend.

Thursday Coffee/Teas Members can now pre-pay their Thursday coffee/tea and raffle costs for the year. This will enable us to treat as income on which we can reclaim tax from HMRC. A token will be provided to show that payment has already been made. Members can make payment directly to Nancy Munro and will receive a token to show that they have pre-paid. It is intended to stick to the calendar year, so payments for 2014 will cover to 31st Dec 2014.
