The result of the vote on whether to call Dr Conor Fegan as Minister of Markinch and Thornton Parish Church was as follows:-Votes in favour: 180, Votes against: 2, Spoilt papers: 1

As a result, the following edict was read out in both Markinch and Thornton Churches on 14th November 2021.

SUBSCRIBING THE CALL – Section 26(1) (Schedule L) To be read on at least one Sunday

Notice is hereby given that this congregation of Markinch and Thornton Church has elected Dr Conor Fegan to be our new minister and a Call to the said Dr Conor Fegan has been prepared. This Call will lie in Markinch and Thornton Church from Sunday the 14th day of November 2021 at the close of morning worship, in the Session House at Markinch, and in the Quiet Room at Thornton; on Sunday 21st November 2021 at the close of morning worship in the same locations. During those times any person whose name is on the Electoral Register of the congregation may sign the Call in person or by means of a mandate.

A paper of Concurrence will also be available for signature by any person who is connected with the congregation but whose name is not on the Electoral Register of the congregation. Children are also welcome to add their names to this paper.
