Jean Gould: Harry and Bryan would like to express their gratitude for the support – prayers, cards, and expressions of sympathy – which they have received after their recent sad loss. They have taken great comfort from the fact that so many people cared for their mother.

Youth Club – On Thursday 20th May, the Youth Club enjoyed their outing to Edinburgh Playhouse to see ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’.  Thanks to everyone who came and helped at this great evening out. Thursday 27th June will be the final session of Youth Club until August.  We still require volunteers to help at the Youth Club, please contact Tracy Thomson on 01592 775752 for more information.

Christian Aid – What a week, thank you! Christian Aid Week is now over for another year – and what a tremendous week of life-changing fundraising you’ve been part of!   I want to express my sincere thanks to you all for everything you have done to make this week a success. Following the Coffee Mornings, Souper Sunday, Haggis Drive, envelope donations and Giving for Lent, we at Markinch Parish Church have raised £1800 so far. Christian Aid Week simply wouldn’t happen without you. Donations can still made via Tracy Thomson.

The General Assembly is on until 26th May. Watch it live at www.churchofscotland.org.uk
