Garden Party 2010 This year’s Garden Party will be held at Bob & Joan Grant’s garden at 29 Braid Drive, Glenrothes on Sunday 27th June from 3.00pm to 5.00pm, weather permitting. (if the weather is bad it will be held in the Church Hall). Tickets priced £5 each will be available from Bob & Joan after the service today.
Markinch Burial Register 1799-1854 We recently made this burial register available as a download from the church website. The 222-page burial register contains details of those interred in Markinch Churchyard between the years of 1799 and 1854. The list was compiled by members of Fife Family History Society (FFHS) and re-formatted into this current version by Ian Gourlay. If anyone would find this to be of interest but does not have access to the internet it is possible to get a printed copy of the relevant pages. See Ken Wilkie for more information.
Rag bag collection – Thank you to everyone who donated to this scheme and we were able to raise £238.00 by clearing out our wardrobes.
The flowers in church today are dedicated to the Glory of God and in memory of Rev. Norman MacLeod who would have celebrated his Golden Jubilee as a Church of Scotland Minister on 24th June.
