You have to let him know if he can be of help.

Coffee Morning from 10.00am to 11.30am on Thursdays in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. Sales table and lucky tickets.

Around Markinch – Photographic Quiz. How well do you know Markinch? Entry sheets are available in the hall after the service today. First prize is a model of the church. The quiz sheets are priced at £1.00 each.

Help For Heroes – One of the young bowlers from Markinch Bowling Club is organising a fundraising bowling competition to raise funds for Help for Heroes today, 15th August. Everyone is invited to come and watch the Adult / Junior pairs bowling competition, which begins at 10.00 am and will run through the afternoon. There will be lucky tickets on sale at the Bowling Club to help raise funds for this extremely worthwhile cause.

The African Children’s Choir is performing in Kinghorn Parish Church on Sunday 22nd August at 7.30 pm. Tickets are £5 and are available only from Ena Hudson on 01592 890181. Entry is by ticket only (as requested by the choir).

A Treasure Hunt is being organised by the Markinch Environmental Action Group on Sunday 22nd August, with the first teams leaving at 1pm from the entrance car park of Balbirnie Park. Teams will follow clues on foot and all ages are welcome, but children MUST be accompanied by an adult. Adults (over 16s) pay £1.00 and this includes refreshments at Markinch Town Hall after the event. Children (under 16s) go free. There are prizes of up to £50.

Back to School with God Sunday – A special service to focus prayer for young people, school staff and local schools will be held on Sunday 29th August, at 2pm in Glenrothes Baptist Church. All welcome.
