The Session Clerk of Markinch Parish Church, Mr John Wood with his daughter Lauren, laying the wreath on behalf of Markinch Parish Church at the war memorial in Markinch on Remembrance Sunday.
A congregation of 150 joined in the service at the war memorial, led by Rev. Alex Forsyth, before going on to a well-attended church service.
Among the veterans, Mr Fred Sankey, who served with the Black Watch in Korea and in many subsequent conflicts, said, ” I’ll keep coming as long as I am able. I’ll never forget the fallen”.
