On behalf of Christian Aid, I would like to say a big thank you for your support during Christian Aid Week.
Thank you for supporting Christian Aid Week this year. We would like to show you how support like yours is being used to help change lives. In the community of Matopeni, Kenya, your generosity means that over the next year our partner Maji na Ufanisi can build clean water and sanitation facilities for over 300 families.
We will be following this journey in our Matopeni Diary, providing monthly updates as the project unfolds and hearing from the people of Matopeni through videos, photos and interviews.
This month we asked one of the families living in Matopeni, the Millas, to take a set of photographs showing what life is like for them. We also hear from Catherine Kithuku, her sister Everlyne and friend Veronica Milla about their hopes for our Matopeni project.
