You have to let him knowif he can be of help.

Souper Sunday – Please join us in the Church Hall following today’s service for soup, tea, coffee and a chat.

Coffee Mornings are held on Thursdays from 10.00am – 11.30am in  the church hall. Come and join us for coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.

Life & Work – This months Life & Work is now ready for uplift.

Church Magazine – Any article you wish to be considered for the next copy of News for the Pews must be emailed to Tracy Thomson by Monday 7th February.

Fundraising for 2011 – There is a box in the Church Hall for anyone to add suggestions for events they think would be a suitable fundraiser this year.  Suggestions for social events could also be added.

Everyone is invited to a meeting to plan fundraising and social events for 2011.  The meeting is planned for Sunday 13th February at 12.30 in the Church Hall

Shoebox Appeal – Glenrothes Rotary are sending shoeboxes to Eastern Europe for an Easter delivery. Please collect empty boxes and information sheets from the Church Hall if you wish to support this appeal. Filled shoeboxes should be returned to the Church Hall by Sunday 13th March.

Christian Aid – Thank you to everyone who donated towards the Well For Kenya and we are delighted to announce that a cheque for £500 has been sent to Christian Aid to purchase this on behalf of Markinch Parish Church.

The Flowers in Church today are dedicated to The Glory Of God and in loving memory of Andy and Anna Burt. They are gifted to the Church by their daughters, Margaret and Alison.

Bethany Christian Trust has a vacancy for a part-time Assistant Retail Manager for the Bethany Charity Shop in Kirkcaldy, to help raise funds for their work with homeless and vulnerable people. Further information is available in the Church Hall. Closing date for applications is 10th February.

Rag Bag Collection
Due to the great success of the Rag Bag collection last year we have started another collection. 
Donations of clothing, shoes, bags or bedding can be brought to the church hall any Thursday or Sunday and we will store them until the collection date later in the year.
Wedding Dresses
We are planning a display of ‘Wedding Dresses Through the Ages’ on Sunday 27th February (Communion and Gift Day). To enable us to have a variety of dresses we need your help, by donating your wedding dress and a photo of you in your dress if possible.  Please contact Tracy Thomson on 01592 775752 if you can help with this appeal.
