We welcomed Rev Richard Baxter from Kennoway and Windygates, who led us in worship today. Our own minister was preaching at St Bryce Church in Kirkcaldy.

You have to let him know if he can be of help.

Elders are reminded that the Church Newsletter and Communion Invitations are ready for uplift from the Session House.

Coffee Mornings are held on Thursdays from 10.00am – 11.30am in  the church hall. Come and join us for coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.

Fundraising for 2011 – There is a box in the Church Hall for anyone to add suggestions for events they think would be a suitable fundraiser this year.  Suggestions for social events could also be added. Everyone is invited to a meeting to plan fundraising and social events for 2011. The meeting is will be held today at 12.30 in the Church Hall

The Guild meets tomorrow evening, Monday 14th February, at 7.00pm in the Church Hall. Alison Christie will be demonstrating Bridal Bouquets Through the Ages. If possible please bring along a photo of your bouquet.

Life & Work – This months Life & Work is now ready for uplift.

Rag Bag Collection Due to the great success of the Rag Bag collection last year we have started another collection.  Donations of clothing, shoes, bags or
bedding can be brought to the church hall any Thursday or Sunday and we will store them until the collection date later in the year.

Christian Aid – Thank you to everyone who donated towards the Well For Kenya and we are delighted to announce that a cheque for £500 has been sent to
Christian Aid to purchase this on behalf of Markinch Parish Church.

Shoebox Appeal – Glenrothes Rotary are sending shoeboxes to Eastern Europe for an Easter delivery. Please collect empty boxes and information sheets from the Church Hall if you wish to support this appeal. Filled shoeboxes should be returned to the Church Hall by Sunday 13th March.

The Flowers in Church today are dedicated to The Glory Of God and in loving memory of Jim Winton. They are gifted to the Church by his wife Rose and family.

Wedding Dresses
We are planning a display of ‘Wedding Dresses Through the Ages’ on Sunday 27th February (Communion and Gift Day). To enable us to have a variety of dresses we need your help, by donating your wedding dress and a photo of you in your dress if possible.  Please contact Tracy
