Coffee Mornings on Thursdays from 10.00am-11.30am in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You are always welcome.

The Flowers In Church today are dedicated to the Glory of God and are in loving memory of Jim Winton. They were gifted to the church by his wife Rose and family.

Summer Lunch The church is hosting a ‘Summer Lunch’ at Balbirnie Golf Club on Saturday 8th June, 12.30pm for 1pm. The two course lunch includes tea and coffee. Cost is £16.50 including the tip. Names to Jean Forsyth with a deposit of £6.50 by Sunday March 31st  and the balance of £10 to be paid by Sunday 26th May. Join us for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon.
Care Home Residents As many of you know visits are made to Markinch Church Members who reside in Care Homes around Fife. Could you please let Meg Sankey know of all members known to be in Care Homes as I feel sure that not all are on our list. Jigsaw Lending Library – Available in the church hall following Sunday Service at a cost of £1 per jigsaw. If you require any information about this activity please contact Meg Sankey on 07834 729420.
Rotary Shoeboxes The Rotary Club of Glenrothes will be sending a  delivery of ‘shoeboxes’ to Eastern Europe for Easter. If you or your family would like to support this extremely worthwhile cause please contact John Wood or Tracy Thomson.

We are holding an Easter Fayre on Saturday 30th March from 2 – 4pm.

We are also having teas at £2 a ticket. You will be offered Pancakes, Hot Cross Buns, Easter Cakes and Easter Biscuits. Sandra Ewan and her helpers will be serving you.

Tickets will be on sale soon. Please talk to the stall holders or those filling a hamper, to see what you can donate. It would be helpful  to have your donations as soon as possible. Donations for the baking stall will be received on the morning of  the Fayre from 9am onwards. Please invite your friends. Let’s try and make this a really happy afternoon.

 

An evening with ……  ROSYTH CONCERT BAND
Fife’s No. 1 Wind Band !

The Rosyth Concert Band will be playing in the Church Hall on 8th March at 7.30pm. This event will be priced at £4 per ticket, which will include a bowl of soup after the concert. Bring your own drinks. Tickets available from Meg Sankey & Karen Wood
