Care Home Residents As many of you know visits are made to Markinch Church Members who reside in Care Homes around Fife. Could you please let Meg Sankey know of all members known to be in Care Homes as I feel sure that not all are on our list. Markinch Heritage Group are hosting a talk about local Open Cast Mining by Ian Terris on Thursday 7th February at 7pm in the 252 Hall, Betson Street. £2 entry for non-members.
Rotary Shoeboxes The Rotary Club of Glenrothes will be sending a delivery of ‘shoeboxes’ to Eastern Europe for Easter. If you or your family would like to support this extremely worthwhile cause please contact John Wood or Tracy Thomson.

We are holding an Easter Fayre on Saturday 30th March from 2 – 4pm.

Tickets will be on sale soon. Please talk to the stall holders or those filling a hamper, to see what you can donate. It would be helpful to have your donations as soon as possible. Donations for the baking stall will be received on the morning of the Fayre from 9am onwards. Please invite your friends. Let’s try and make this a really happy afternoon.
An evening with …… ROSYTH CONCERT BAND
Fife’s No. 1 Wind Band !
The Rosyth Concert Band will be playing in the Church Hall on 8th March at 7.30pm. This event will be priced at £4 per ticket, which will include a bowl of soup after the concert. Bring your own drinks. Tickets available from Meg Sankey & Karen Wood
