Rev Alex Forsyth will be retiring as our minister at the end of January 2014 and Jean will retire as our organist. Alex’s last service at Markinch Parish Church will be held on Sunday, 22nd December at 11am. We will also celebrate communion during that service and there will be refreshments in the hall afterwards.
We are expecting a larger than normal congregation, so if travelling by car, please leave a bit earlier to avoid parking problems.
During the service, a presentation will be made to Alex and Jean on behalf of the Markinch congregation.
We thank Alex and Jean for their dedicated work in Markinch for the last 11 years. They will be missed by everyone around Markinch.
