Christmas Gift Wrapping Service. A Christmas wrapping service will be available in the church hall on Sundays and Thursdays up until Christmas. The cost is 50 pence per present for gift wrapping and a tag and £1 for wrapping, tag, bow and ribbon. All proceeds will go to church funds. See Karen Wood or Marianne Sankey in the church hall if you would like your presents wrapped.

The Flowers in Church today are gifted by Joan, Bob, May and Drew in loving memory of their daughter and grand-daughter Lorna Grant.

Retiral of Rev Alex and Jean Forsyth.
Members of the congregation are reminded that next Sunday 22nd December will be Rev Alex Forsyth’s last service at Markinch Parish Church. We hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend.
We will be celebrating Communion during the service and there will be refreshments in the hall afterwards.

Over the Christmas season, our ‘Trees of Memories’ in the church windows offer a way to remember loved ones who are no longer with us.
Add your own inscription on the reverse of the tag before hanging it on the tree before or after the morning service.
Last year more than one hundred cards adorned the trees.
Memory cards (£1) are available from the table in the church entrance. All proceeds from the ‘Trees of Memories’ are going towards the provision of a stair lift at the church gates.
