Ministers Vestry Hour 12 noon – 1.00 pm. Please contact the Minister for an appointment – phone 01592-758264 or  E-mail  alex@arforsyth.com   In the event of hospitalisation, serious illness, family anxiety, bereavement or personal difficulty the Minister is readily available to visit. You have to let him know if he can be of help.

Coffee Morning from 10.00 to 11.30am on Thursdays in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. Sales table & lucky tickets.

Congregational Board – there will be a short meeting of the Board in the Session House immediately after today’s service when consideration will be given towards approving an estimate for the repair to the Hall roof. Copies of the estimates submitted are now available in the Session House for those members who do not have e-mail facilities

The Guild meets tomorrow evening, Monday 11th October, at 7.00pm in the Church Hall.  Tom Mitchell will be talking about Puddledub Meats.  All welcome

Church Christmas Cards are available in the hall after the service every Sunday and at morning coffee on Thursdays. Price £5 per pack of 10.

Life & Work – The new issue of Life and Work is now ready for uplift.

Church Magazine – The next News from the Pews is urgently needing new articles from the congregation.  There are a few weeks until articles have to be gathered together – have a think, what are you able to contribute to OUR magazine or what would you like to be included in OUR magazine.

Markinch: Its Church and Parish  A new book by Ian Gourlay and Ken Wilkie.  A companion to The Church in Markinch which was published in 2001. Paperback copies are available for sale in the hall after today’s service. The first batch of hardback copies have sold out but put your name on the waiting list for the next batch, available in approximately 3 – 4 weeks. Paperback price £12.50 (£10 for church members) and hardback price £18.00 (£15 for church members). All profits from the sale of the book go to our church funds.
