Coffee Morning from 10.00 to 11.30am on Thursdays in the church hall. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. Sales table & lucky tickets.
Fundraising Coffee Morning – Thank you to everyone who donated, helped or came along and supported the recent coffee morning. We are extremely pleased to say the £773.00 was raised for the upgrade the Church buildings.
Church Christmas Cards are available in the hall after the service every Sunday and at morning coffee on Thursdays. Price £5 per pack of 10.
Harvest Donations – Thank you to everyone who donated tinned food and
items for the Harvest display. All the tinned food was donated to St Ninian’s Church, Glenrothes, who organise and distribute to the homeless in the Glenrothes area
Church Magazine – The next News from the Pews is urgently needing new articles from the congregation. There are a few weeks until articles have to be gathered together – have a think, what are you able to contribute to OUR magazine or what would you like to be included in OUR magazine.
Markinch: Its Church and Parish – A new book by Ian Gourlay and Ken Wilkie. A companion to the volume The Church in Markinch which was published in 2001. Paperback price £12.50 (£10 for church members) and hardback price £18.00 (£15 for members).
All profits from the sale of the book go to our church funds. Copies of the paperback are on sale in the hall today or contact Ken Wilkie on 01592 760042 or email book@markinchchurch.org.uk to reserve copies of the hardback. These have been ordered and will be available in 3-4 weeks time.
